So I basically feel TERRIBLE For Renard right now,
but basically he went through the same staring contest of SOULS deal that Anton did in the beginning.
I’m guessing THE MASTER has decided that Renard hasn’t SUFFERED enough to be a real artist but that feels like a very narrow-minded perspective. Nobody can entirely control whether their life is ultra tragic or not.
Also I’m not sure that I get the sense that Virgil has suffered terribly either. He seems to be much like Renard, an incredibly eager student…
Almost a Shame it seems they will not grow to HATE each other…
