That’s finally all of that! BERET will now take a short (week and a half max) break while I finish some SERIOUS pre-production for the next chapter. I’m also going to be doing something KIND OF UNUSUAL for the next chapter’s premiere bit, so it may take me longer than I think.
There will be some updates coming such as New Character Profiles for the jerks we met this chapter though, so look for that!

What the hell crazy moon language font is that on the contract though?
For such an Art oriented society a pictograph/ideogram based written language would seem incredibly obvious…

Ha, there is a reason the Prince’s Contracts are in crazy moon language, if you recall we’ve already seen objects with text on them in traditional English “I want the audience to be able to read this” language

Anton’s Sketchbook has his name on it. All the Books in the ART BOAT have Moon Runes. Then the Contract the Sculptor dude dies on is MOON RUNE AGAIN and his name is too messy to make out but probably in a regular alphabet but its a signature so who knows. Renards Documents are all also all in SPACE-ESE…
And I realized I would find it deeply hilarious yet appropriate if Anton’s primary medium was Glass… Because he would look super cute with heavy gloves, a torch and a face mask…
I had actually forgotten about the books on the SKY BOAT, whoops, those were essentially just “text I don’t want to write but want to imply something is written there” abstraction. The Prince’s Contracts are always in nonsense font but yes the tall artist (who had the absolutely silly name of Mori Galt) “signed” the contract in readable language.
Also oh man that would be a really cute outfit for Anton. Gotta DRAW that

Hey, I don’t want to sound mean but will there ever be a colored reference for all these guys? Like on the cast page or something. I suffer from a rare medical condition called Ocular Gingeritis. I see everyone as a red-head.

I also like Lithi’s glass-making Anton, that sounds neat, though non-cannon. His magic is daimonds!
Some colored pictures of the characters have show up in the photos of the facebook group, but I agree that I should probably do some “official color portraits” at some point.
So far THE MASTER is the only red head (more orange than red though)
